Arcade Basketball Games

What are some good PlayStation 3 games?

I'm buying a PS3 for my nephew and I wanted to know some great games for it.I ve or less to outside the loop Playstation about 4 years so I do not know what that is. No first-person shooters, RPGs, war games or strategy games. I am research specifically for basketball, racing arcade 3D fighting, action / adventure platforming.I m ', also looking for any good games with several players who need not go online. Is Need for Speed: Shift like old games or Pro Street? I really hated Pro Street. It's Street Fighter IV 2D or 3D? So I go Need for Speed?

I'm not sure B-ball this gene, but Burnout Paradise, Need For Speed: Shift, Race Driver GRID are all racing games arch-solid in nature (as opposed to games like Forza and Gran Turismo). 3D fighting games are kind of limited but Abslolute one of my favorites (and among the best gender) is Soul Calibur 4. Virtua Fighter 5 is a good game, but bores me to enter. Tekken 6 will not come out in North America until next month, but the rumor is that Japan will be impressive. Probably the best adventure game on PS3 Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Not only is a great game, but then Uncharted 2 (due next week, IIRC), has obtained almost perfect reviews (IGN gives it 9.5 out of 10). Fun games in the genre include Heavenly Sword, infamous, and Ratchet Clank: Tools of Destruction. As for multiplayer, not online games, runners listed above deserve and the fighters. In addition, sports games usually quite good at this, so if you find a good B-Ball (sorry, but do not keep track), should be able to do off-line multiplayer. EDIT: NFS: Change does not arcade is a pilot. In fact, his attempt to Sim Racing realistic. My bad to fool you. If this does not put you off then it may be a rental value, as it has received, perhaps the biggest compliment any game in the series. In my opinion, the other NFS PS3 games are not worth it. SFIV is a 2D fighter with 3D animations. What this means is that the player's movements are performed in 2-D, but the character models and environments are in 3D. In fact, if you've ever played Street Fighter II and Street Fighter III, you will notice that are almost the same as SFIV. I do not recommend this version of a hard core SF fans however, as there is much need in terms of gameplay and character development. The Legend has it that a sequel to SFIV (I told you is like SFII, lol) will be launched next year. Short answer is in 2D. If you like arcade racers prefer simulations career, then you should jump Need For Speed Shift, but I hear it's amazing what he did (driving) SIM.
