Basketball Clock Offense

Basketball Clock Offense
Dean Smith at North Carolina was one of the coaches of college basketball most overrated of all time?

It is simply not very good. With its patent "four corners" offense, and no shot clock for most of his career, he did not play to win but not lose. He would go to the Four Corners " seems, every time his team was ahead in the second half and the game became a keepaway hole, passing the ball around the outer perimeter, with the sole purpose of taking time off the clock. In his only NCAA championship win, I think he had a shot Buzzer Beater by none other than Michael Jordan himself, to his team to defeat Georgetown. This team also had James Worthy andSam Perkins in him, and Smith could only muster a victory in the last second? They say Dean Smith could hold Michael Jordan under 15 points per game. Having grown up on the east coast, I'm tired of hearing every year how great Dean Smith, when, to be honest with all the talent that passed through his program, he should have won many championships.

John Wooden is still the best
