Maine Basketball Team

Williams, Amherst, Holy Cross, Bowdoin, Middlebury or?

I really want a small high-ranking liberal arts college and want to stay in New England, but I fear many of them are so far in the bush. I do not want to feel trapped in college and away from urban life. Princeton Review rates the HC selectivity income to 96 if not as selective as that of other friends, but what really this good? I say that Santa Cruz could be the best solution, since it is located in suburban Boston and New England is the second largest city of Worcester. They also have Division 1 athletics and the basketball team is often important in the NCAA tournament. Williams looks great, but I do not think I could tolerate being in an area so rural. The same goes for Middlebury. Amherst is not as bad as it is the consortium universities, but there are still 2 hours from Boston. Bowdoin in Maine and not just be in Maine during New England winters!

For all the schools of this level, academics are notable. Sainte-Croix was 7 Fulbright Scholars this year is very impressive for a school of 2700 students. Santa Cruz is one of the few schools whose graduates is a sitting U.S. Supreme Court. Visit these schools and see where he feels most at home. I agree on the place of Williams. I lived in Massachusetts all my life and never had an excuse to hunt, because there is something else. Worcester, while the industry is at the heart of New England and easily accessible Boston, New York and Cape Cod
