Youth Basketball € "Teaching balance and control
Everything has a process, a beginning, middle and an end or final result.
They taught me that learning is a process that goes through three phases before
reach the final of excellence. 1) The initial phase is when we know not what they do not know. We are "novice" without the slightest idea what we're going to try. We are like infants, with a clean slate and empty. We will call this phase of the "incompetence unconscious. "2) As we begin to take the information and act accordingly, we can learn how to apply this information but also exercise the powers. We can foresee the future and others in the same learning curve and we know that there's more. We call this phase "Conscious incompetence." 3) Now we have a plateau where we know enough to make the skills they have tried to achieve, and we can accomplish, but perhaps not all the time because we still have to think about. The longer we stay in this phase, the more you learn the more practical skills, the better we will perform the task. We call this phase of "conscious competence". 4) For each set, have built new information on the basis of the information and skills they have learned. If we are out of phase 3, we enter phase excellence, where a task can be performed without having to think. The skill that is learned. We have overcome others who are still going through the learning curve. We must, however, be guarded now I think we are better than others. We must be aware that there are others, many others who have reached this level and skills May at a higher level. We call this phase of the "unconscious competence".
This article illustrates the first level, assuming that young people in their care,
know little or nothing about the game of basketball. Before we can run, you have to go through stages of exploration and power walking. So started in the most basic information gathering to be treated on the long road to the unconscious competence.
First, are shown around the track playing. Tell them about the lines and
places on the ground and what they mean. Explain that in all sports there are certain things that players must be common. In this article, we take the first step of the balance between teaching and control.
There are many subtleties in the game of basketball, which are also important for the
play the game such as dribbling, passing and shooting.
Normally, as a player develops the game, balance and control the body is becoming less a problem. But for the young player, these things are very important, because without his master, the game will not play well. Again, these things should be teach.
The first thing to do is show a good position, universally referred to
sports and the position of "ready." We want your feet on the player and a bit wider than the hips. Drop your hips and knees bend a little. or moving speech.
