Summit League Basketball
Are we screwed or what?!?

I'm from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and I'm local sports, as well as the national sport, and I 'M kind of angry about something. A few years ago, South Dakota State, which is in Brookings, is in Division I, and this year joined the top league. Here is Betrayal: The team of South Dakota women's basketball was 23-6 overall, 16-2 in the top of the league and won the title of the conference regular season press. At the same time, Kristen Rotert was named sixth woman of the year, coach Aaron Johnston won year and two conference players of all that. The NCAA has a rule that beginners DI can not be in the playoff tournament in a given year, which is the next season for us. Of course, we can participate in the WNIT tournament this year, but I think that is a lie that we were not even allowed in the conference tournament. We won the regular season title and is the least we can to give us the chance to win the tournament title! What do you think?

I agree, it's a horrible rule. Congratulations on the progress of his team shortly. It is incredible that his program will be built to such a level to gain some time. I think the NCAA has rules to ensure a program is legitimate in its entry into D1, but if the program is allowed to join the first place, then, has proven to be ready for this level and should be allowed to play in qualifying tournaments. It must be very frustrating for you, then get ready. Good luck to you and your team!
