Wood Basketball Floors
What could this hole in my basement concrete floor be?
I bought a new house last June. There's a hole the size of a Basketball located about 4 feet away from the sump pump. The hole is covered with nothing but a piece of discarded wood. I know I asked the builder about this in my way through the damned, but if I remember what I said is true? Any ideas? It seems strange that those who are there. I suspect that the hole should not be there. There would way to never finish the basement, if I wanted. There is no way to always have underlying / carpet. Any advice? Thank you!
